It’s been around a month since our last update, so we have a little bit of catching up to do!
Progress has been slow, but we have managed to make significant progress. We finished our floor by installing vinyl flooring, we think it looks great!
After the flooring, we began work on the roof. The solar panel that we went with is rather large, so that really only left room to add a fan to the roof. We painted the roof with a white RV paint to help keep the temperature down inside the van. Installing the panel and fan were was pretty difficult, with precise measurements and heavy lifting, but the most difficult task was yet to come.
A week later we were determined to finish the ceiling. It started with insulation, we then added the ceiling panels, and finished with the installation of lights.
That’s all for now! Next up is to begin work on our electrical system and add the detailing to/insulate the walls inside the van. We will be sure to keep you updated!
